A native of Washington D.C., Rob Harman spent nearly 20 years in the District of Columbia’s commercial office maintenance and management arena, serving as a facility manager in the private industry in several high rise office buildings in Northwest D.C. and then as a Building’s Manager for the General Services Administration at the Dept. of Interior, State Department and finally the White House Group--including the East and West wings of the White House, the Old and New Executive Office Buildings and the Blair House--under the Reagan administration. Harman earned his Delaware Real Estate license in 1995 and began to sell and lease in the Seaford, Delaware area until 2000 when he became a Broker in both Delaware and Maryland. Rob then started Home Team Realty with his partner and the business quickly became the top residential sales and listing company in their market with more than 30 agents.
Rob Harman’s extensive and unique experience enables him to recognize the special needs of commercial clients and the specialized tools and experience required to fulfill them. His faith based ethics and community service are evidenced by his past and continued involvement in the Lion’s Club as past president, Seaford Rotary Club, Habitat for Humanity, the Seaford Men’s Mission, and the Cokesbury Community Church. He is a former president of Delaware Association of REALTORS and as the current chair of the Seaford Chamber of Commerce's Econominc Deveolpment Committe, Rob has spearheaded the effort to renovate the Nanticoke Senior Center.
Harman currently resides in Seaford, Delaware with his wife and children. In his free time, Rob enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, writing music, and leading the band at his church.
